Clean the glass and the figures for the snow globe well with washing-up liquid. The detergent has an antibacterial effect.
First, attach the base to the inside of the lid with a hot glue gun. To do this, put the glue not on the lid, but on the figure. Then the figure is mounted on the base with the hot glue gun. Press firmly and let everything dry.
Fill the glass with distilled water so that it does not overflow. Then the snow comes in. To prevent the snow from sinking too quickly, splash some baby oil or detergent into the water.
Gently twist the lid with the figure on the jar. By gently shaking it, you can test whether the snow / glitter is falling correctly and whether the amount is sufficient. Also whether there is enough water in the glass. If not, carefully add water or snow.
If the ball is fine, you can use hot glue to seal the lid.
Finally, wrap the lid with raffia or ribbon.
Beautiful snow globes can also be created from finished construction kits. In that case, all you have to do is remove the ball. Then place the figures you want on the porcelain base.
